My photography is influenced by Miksang contemplative photography and a fascination with everyday beauty.
One Second explores creating and capturing movement through a longer exposure, usually one to four seconds. The movement creates a digital painting, revealing a hidden record of activity and life occurring in a specific slice of time in a specific place. Each image is unique and always a surprise.
Trash & Treasure is an ongoing series of photographs of trash left behind in beautiful places. The first exhibition was in Feb/March 2018 at the F Project Gallery, Warrnambool.
Slip, a digital photography project inspired by George Saunders’ novel Lincoln in the Bardo, exhibited in Biblio-Art 2017 at Blarney Books and Art, Port Fairy.
I also offer workshops and study groups in contemplative photography and embodied creativity. See my workshops page for past and upcoming events, and get in touch if you want to organize a workshop in your area.
